1.     Spend less than you make

2.     Avoid the use of debt

3.     Don't tie up all your money. (Have some cash and emergency funds available for the short term needs).

4.     Have a long-term plan. (Fail to plan, plan to fail.)

5.     Realize that you are only a Manager of what has been given. In reality, God owns it all, we simply manage it. We don't even own our next breath. This life is only a small part of eternity. (At the end of this life, he with the most toys is dead, not necessarily a winner.)
